The brand-new BMW iX3 marks a bold new chapter for the company. As the very first model in the highly anticipated Neue Klasse family, this electric Sports Activity Vehicle brings with it an entirely reimagined approach to performance, technology, and design.

Exterior Design

Drawing inspiration from the Neue Klasse X concept, the iX3 carries a sharper, more confident presence. Its signature kidney grille has been reinterpreted with a slimmer, vertically-oriented form – a nod to the classic Neue Klasse of the 1960s – while still glowing with BMW’s distinctive illumination.

The headlights adopt an all-new light signature with welcome and farewell animations, adding a touch of theatre to every drive. The sculpted bonnet flows toward a reworked BMW roundel – a minimalist badge that debuts here and will feature across the full Neue Klasse portfolio.

For the first time, the iX3 provides 58 litres of front storage, perfect for keeping charging cables neatly tucked away. At the rear, the boot offers 520 litres, expanding to 1,750 litres with the seats folded flat. With the option of a towing hitch, the vehicle is as versatile as it is elegant.

Details such as flush-fitting door handles and aerodynamic air blades improve efficiency while enhancing the car’s streamlined aesthetic. Buyers can select from six body colours, including two brand-new finishes: Ocean Wave Blue and Polarised Grey.

The charging experience is also made smarter. Thanks to AI integration, the Automatic Charging Flap learns your regular charging stops and opens automatically when you arrive, ready for effortless plug-in.
